The state of Arizona is offering a new OTC Elk Hunt opportunity in areas that were draw-only in the past. These areas are full of elk, with bulls in the 300 to 350-inch range and potential for a bigger bull. Our OTC elk hunts include private land access! Big Chino Outfitters has access to 90,000 acres of private elk hunting land - we are one of the only Arizona hunting outfitters with access to this size and quality of land!

Our team has scouted and managed these areas to make sure you fill your OTC elk tag.

OTC Elk Season Dates

• The Any Elk Hunt (Bull or Cow) Season Dates are January 1 - March 31, 2024 
• The Bull Only Season is open April 1 - July 31 2024 

Velvet Bull Elk Hunts

The bulls will be in velvet during the summer, which makes these OTC hunts a unique opportunity to harvest a velvet bull elk. Can't think of anywhere else in the West where you could hunt a guaranteed OTC Bull Elk in velvet!

OTC Hunt Parameters

The hunters will be responsible for the following:

1. Their own lodging Motel or AirBnB with recommendations provided  Heber Arizona or SnowFlake Arizona
2. Meals - BCO will provide sack lunches in the field only while hunting. Hunters are responsible for all other meals 
3. Transportation to meet guides if necessary 
4. Hunters must obtain a Valid AZ Hunting License and purchase an OTC Non-Permit Elk Tag 
5. Field meat care will be done with the guides. Hunters are responsible for any affiliated cost for meat processing and Taxidermy as well as the shipping costs if applicable!
